The Development of PEN, a decision supporting software

The task of PEN (Productivity Effectiveness Navigator), a decision supporting software is to create scenarios that are capable to efficiently manage situations and minimise damage in case of events related to the production (failure of equipment involving overhaul, shortfall of a supplier, logistical problems caused by natural catastrophes etc).

„Country Heritage Routes” – Baranya County Rural Tourism Public Utility Association

The Foundation for Information Society, within the framework of the Baranya County Rural Tourism Public Utility Association submitted a tender called „Country Heritage Routes” for the call DDOP- 2.1.3. and the Foundation participated in the implementation of this project as well.

An organisation with multiple activities like ITA, there are simultaneous activities, planning, preparations, research and other work that have to be well allocated and planned. The human resource and expertise requirements as well as the funding options make us clear to operate in the framework of projects driven operation. Financing of our activities comes mainly from calls or assignments that also necessitates the keeping of severe time frames. The reason for project type functioning is appropriate for us, as there is overall as well as detailed design for the activities including a permanent control of implementation, consequently producing quality work by professionals in a good team atmosphere. The project teams are committed and complement each other’s knowledge, thus providing a bigger performance than they could achieve individually.
