- Classical management-organizational methods, which were highly effective in the mid-twentieth century based on long-term strategic planning practices, gradually lost their effectiveness by the 1980s and typically do not guarantee effective operation for organizations in today’s market environment. Therefore, this paper first reviews the most important changes that have occurred in the global market and social environment in the recent period. It then examines the new demands that the changed environmental conditions place on leadership functions and tasks: after a review of various leadership theories, it briefly defines the concept of emotional intelligence and its main components, and then lists the areas within which leadership practices must continue to respond in a meaningful way in order to maintain the competitiveness of their organisations. Finally, the conclusion shows how important and indispensable the competences are that the CI brings together in order to deliver these areas adequately and to a high standard.

- Jelen tanulmányunkkal azt a célt tűztük ki, hogy megvizsgáljuk az összekapcsolási lehetőségiet az Információs Társadalomért Alapítvány által összefogott, a teljes magyar vállalati szektor kvantitatív idősoros tudástőke felmérés kutatásának az eredményeit, elsősorban a Poór et al. által publikált „A vállalati-szervezeti stabilitást veszélyeztető tényezők, Gazdálkodás, menedzsment és HR a háború árnyékában (ipar, mezőgazdaság, szolgáltatások, egyéb területek)” (Poór, et al., 2022a) kutatással, valamint részben a Poór et al. által publikált „Kilábalás – Újranyitás – Növekedés, Várható változások a vállalati/ intézményi gazdálkodásban és menedzsmentben a koronavírus árnyékában” (Poór, et al., 2022b) kutatással.
